Meta is expanding the benefits of its Verified Max subscription once again, this time adding a direct line to its content strategy team. Subscribers willing to pay the highest tier for that blue checkmark across Meta’s platforms will now have the option to schedule a one-on-one strategy session with Meta staff.

The company has been refining and reshaping its Meta Verified offerings since last year, gradually introducing a tiered system that allows users to pay for varying levels of perks.

As the updated structure shows, Meta now offers four subscription levels, with the most expensive tier including a new perk: “Personalized Content Strategy Advice.”

Under this arrangement, those paying $349 per month—or $499 per month for combined Facebook and Instagram coverage—can schedule a consultation with Meta’s advisors to help sharpen their content approach.

Meta describes the service as follows:

“Schedule a call with one of our advisors to review your content strategy and get advice that’s tailored to your subscribed accounts. You get one call per verified profile every 6 months.”

While that amounts to only two calls per year, the chance to receive direct strategic guidance from Meta’s own team could prove useful for creators looking to align with the platform’s priorities and improve their performance.

The question, of course, is whether this justifies an annual cost exceeding $4,000. For some, the insight alone might not be enough — but when combined with the broader list of features included in the Meta Verified package, the added consultation may push the offering into more compelling territory.

Still, the larger debate remains: what does buying a checkmark actually mean?
A symbol that once served as a marker of legitimacy and public relevance is now available to anyone willing to pay. The high standards that once governed verification helped build trust, signaling that an individual or brand was who they claimed to be.

Everything shifted when X (formerly Twitter) began selling verification to the masses, effectively diluting its value overnight. Once a badge of authenticity becomes a purchasable item, its meaning inevitably erodes — and confusion follows, as users can no longer rely on the symbol as proof of identity.

Meta’s system, while more structured, is not immune to the same issue. Although its process for purchasing a blue tick is more stringent than X’s, and though its packages include notable security enhancements, it still transforms what was once a credibility marker into a commercial product.

Now, with the addition of semiannual strategy consultations, Meta is aiming to elevate the appeal of its top-tier subscription. For those willing to invest heavily, the package continues to grow.
