“Getting help with your account should be simple and accessible. That’s why we’re launching a new, centralized hub on Facebook and Instagram that brings support tools and options into one place. Within the support hub, you can now report an account issue, find quick answers with the help of Meta AI-powered search, and more.”

 

You still won’t get direct access to a human representative in most cases, but you’ll have clearer visibility into potential problems with your account, along with more straightforward options to submit reports or search AI-generated guidance.

 

Meta is also enhancing tools for account recovery:

 

“If you lose access to your account, getting back in should be quick and stress-free. We’ve updated the account recovery experience on Facebook and Instagram using AI so you can get help gaining access to your account.”

Beyond improved instructions, Meta says it has upgraded SMS and email alerts for suspicious activity, strengthened its trusted device recognition, and refined the recovery process so it adapts to the user’s situation with clearer steps and simpler verification.

 

Will all of this actually make support and recovery better?

 

That will depend heavily on individual scenarios. But the broader aim is to make Meta’s systems easier to navigate using conversational AI, giving users a better chance of finding the information they need without hitting dead ends.
